Our Story
For over 30 years, Duct Doctor USA has been providing quality air duct cleaning for both residential and commercial customers. Duct Doctor was founded by a board certified allergist in 1985 with a mission to improve the air quality of homes and workplaces.
We are unique in the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) industry because of our commitment to quality. We employ several NADCA Certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialists and two Board Certified Allergists.
Indoor Air Quality is a concern for all of us- whether at work or at home. Contaminants such as dust, dander, mold, vermin (and their droppings), and bugs can collect in duct work. These contaminants can get circulated throughout a home or office every time the system runs. Dirty ducts may contribute to health issues like respiratory conditions, autoimmune disorder, and environmental allergies.
Duct Doctor was established in order to improve air quality, help HVAC systems run better, and preserve the function of sensitive equipment. We have cleaned the air handling systems of several military installations, including the computer center which controls the Navy’s nuclear submarine simulator facility at Kings Bay. We have also cleaned other sensitive environments such as The South Carolina Archives and History Building and several major hospitals, including patient occupied intensive care units.
In addition to cleaning duct work, we also apply anti-microbial paint to areas in the ducts where visible microbial growth is found. We have painted more than 500,000 sq. ft. of interior duct surfaces and air handlers. With hundreds of commercial buildings covering more than 10 million square feet of space, Duct Doctor’s client list includes industry leaders in industrial, hospitals, school systems and research facilities.
We currently have 21 franchises in the U.S. We provide high quality air duct cleaning service to residential and commercial customers in over 125 cities in 11 states. In 2005 we opened our first foreign franchise in the United Arab Emirates. Our franchisees benefit greatly from our 30-year learning curve and all Duct Doctor personnel abide by both NADCA’s code of ethics and our own high standards of conduct.
